These arrived in time for a Christmas gift. My beginning forger was quite pleased, as he has been using various substandard tongs that just dont hold up. He feels these will be long lasting and do the trick! They are strong and well aligned, and seem to hold firmly so far. These work well with my forge.Box was torn when it arrived.. Only got 3 of the 6 pieces I was supposed to get. Sent message to Amazon I did not want to return, just wanted the missing 3 sent. Never got them. :(High quality set!Save your money folks. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of these tongs. I’m new at blacksmithing and have forged a better and higher quality tong than any of the three of these. The rivits are not finished, the tongs are not straightened, nor aligned. The reigns are not drawn out, and are made of extremely soft metal. Spend half the money and get the rapid tongs from Ken’s Custom Iron, and teach yourself how to finish a set of tongs.I do not recommend this product at all. Zero stars!!!!The tongs are quite terrible. They looked fine and sturdy to start with, if a bit awkward in proportions of the head, hinges, and reigns. But as soon as I attempted to lift a moderate sized steel rod, three of the tongs tore just above or below the rivets. Not snapped, tore.Finissions ruff et la V 3/4 avais besoin de plus de mordant elle était ronde avec à peine une séparation en v
