Don't expect it to be easy though, still requires a lot of effort. Rubber mallet is your helper. But it's a way easier than without it, and caps are not bent this time. It's a little flimsy but it worksThis set of specialized pliers has been very useful for utility trailers bearings servicing. It makes removing these hub caps very easy and keeps them in good shape. Using a flathead screwdriver or a chisel does work, but it damages or deforms these caps in no time. There’s only a specific hub cap on all rear drum brakes Ford Focus that this plier got defeated. There was no « lip » for these pliers to grab. It’s never going to be the pliers i use the most but they have been a real time saver for me for this dedicated kind of work. Hopefully this review helps someone out there.Has been good for any trailers I have worked on. Sharp edges to get behind the dust cap. I also use a hammer to hit it in to get the cap to start coming off. Only future concern I have is the rivet they use for the pivot.
