The VP-440 identifies alternating current (AC) voltage from a distance of 0.16 inch (4 millimeter) to evaluate cables, circuit breakers, wall sockets, junction boxes, and other electrical wiring systems securely. The tester tip illuminate’s red in the presence of AC voltage between 50 to 1000V. It is powered by two alkaline AAA batteries and meets European Standards (EN) 61010-031 CAT IV 600 V / CAT III 1000 V.
